Season Storyline

Week 1 sets the pecking order with Minshew Mania (claytonmauldin) exploding for the league's best score, 217.82, and grabbing both the top standings spot and the 1st power ranking with a dominant 9-0 all-play mark. Childs Play backs them up in 2nd with a 192.72 outburst and an 8-1 all-play record, while Money Talks squeaks into 3rd at 171.88 despite the closest game of the week, a 171.88 to 168.46 nail-biter over tannerorchard. On the other end, Johnshtn's 68.04 was the week's low point, and their 0-9 all-play record signals a rough start, joined in the basement by Eli77 and Beta-Blocker. It's just one week, but the gap between the top three and the bottom of the standings is already stark.

CDU's balanced firepower made this one a laugher, while Johnshtn's league-worst outing and bench blunders left them searching for answers at the bottom of the standings.

CDU came out of the gate throwing haymakers, with Bryce Young turning in a monster 31.44 and Tyler Shough chipping in a tidy 21.20 to help bury Johnshtn early. Bucky Irving added 15.80 to round out a balanced attack that never let Johnshtn breathe. Meanwhile, Johnshtn's Malik Willis did his part with 15.70, but it wasn't nearly enough — and to add insult to injury, Jayden Daniels (17.66) and David Njoku (13.30) were both stuck on the bench, though neither benching could've flipped this result. The 56.20-point margin was as ugly as it sounds, and Johnshtn's 68.04 landed as the lowest score in the entire league this week, dropping them to the basement at 0-1. CDU, meanwhile, struts into 1-0 sitting comfortably at 4th in the standings.

Minshew Mania kicked off the season by absolutely torching the league, riding Caleb Williams' 37.26 and Josh Allen's 34.66 to the highest score anyone put up in Week 1. Trey McBride chipped in a tidy 29.00 to round out a trio that made this one look easy from the jump. LaMar-a-Lago wasn't exactly asleep at the wheel — Kenneth Walker's 32.60 and Isaiah Likely's 30.80 kept them respectable, and Lamar Jackson added 23.96 — but that's not LaMar-a-Lago, that's LaMar-a-Lay-an-Egg when the final margin reads 53.84. claytonmauldin's crew opens 1-0 and sits atop the standings, while NolanGrush drops to 0-1 and 7th, searching for answers after a statement-making blowout.

Childs Play didn't just win — they turned Week 1's ugliest mismatch into a full-blown clinic.

Childs Play absolutely buried Eli77 in a game that turned into the week's biggest blowout. Jahmyr Gibbs and Ashton Jeanty combined for a monstrous ground assault, going for 30.10 and 29.70 respectively, while Zay Flowers gave Eli77 his lone bright spot with a 23.50 outing that couldn't dent the deficit. Eli77 also left Kirk Cousins and rookie Denzel Boston glued to the bench, though with a gap this massive, starting either one couldn't have flipped the outcome. Meanwhile isaacchilds didn't even need Christian Watson's 29.70 off the bench — that's how comfortable this 192.72 to 83.32 statement win was, pushing Childs Play to 1-0 and 2nd while Eli77 drops to 0-1 and 9th.

Bake2803 rode Patrick Mahomes' 21.66 to a season-opening win, holding off a Beta-Blocker squad that got solid production from Deebo Samuel but couldn't find enough support to close the gap. LightningKing's crew falls to 0-1 and lands 8th in the standings, while Bake2803 opens 1-0 and sits 5th. The final margin was 12.66, and Bake2803 didn't even need Jared Goff's 15.44, which sat on the bench doing nothing for the score. Add in rookie Antonio Williams stashed on the taxi squad putting up 14.40 that couldn't count, and Bake2803's future is looking bright even beyond this win.

Full recapHide recap

Money Talks lived up to the name behind a thunderous Derrick Henry stampede for 34.80 and D'Andre Swift chipping in 31.90, just enough to hold off tannerorchard's Justin Jefferson (27.20) and Trevor Lawrence (26.10) in the tightest tussle of the week. tannerorchard's Mike Gesicki quietly dropped 21.30 from the bench, proof that bench regrets are already a Week 1 tradition. brockanderson's squad edges to 1-0 and climbs to 3rd, while tannerorchard falls to 0-1 and 6th after a 171.88 to 168.46 nail-biter. Jalen Coker also stashed 29.80 on Money Talks' bench, showing this roster's got depth to spare even when it wins ugly.
